Most people would just say “Don’t. Get yourself Open Office.” However, there is another solution: Open XML / ODF Add-Ins for Office. What’s interesting about the project is the license (BSD-like) and the sponsor (Microsoft). The programme also helps you open spreadsheets and presentations in Open Document Format in the respective office applications.
