“Sende dein Licht” – Mattheiser Pfingstkonzert

Giana Sisters or It’s My life

Is there any kind of similarity between the old game score of The Great Giana Sisters and this year’s Romanian contribution to the ESC, or is there none? I do not know.

“Space Oddity” / Chris Hadfield

This music video by Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield made my day today. Beautiful.

Surprisingly, they played half of in on German television today (3sat Kulturzeit), but unfortunately cut to the news before Hadfield could play his guitar–in space! (Just imagine! Yay! If you watch it, wait for it! Wait for it!) Comments on Youtube are worth reading. Many people, and rightly so, see Hadfield as their modern idol/hero. Some gleam of hope in my cultural pessimistic world view (cf. Justin Bieber, another Canadian).

Sehr sehr gut.
